Both Argon and Nitrogen come from the air and come back to the air after putting out the fire. Both the GWP and the ODP are 0; it means IG541 system will never do damage to ozone layer, and will never bring about greenhouse effect, environment friendly. Both of the two gases do not have any chemical reaction with other materials, and stick to their own chemical properties, no secondary pollution.
The principle to putting out the fire for IG541 system is to reduce the oxygen concentration from 20.9% to 15% below. When the oxygen concentration is less than 15%, the fire will be put out. So IG541 system is a total flooding system.
There are three ways to activate the IG541 system: automatic activation, manual activation and emergency activation. Fire detectors send signals to control panel; control panel starts the solenoid valve and cylinder valves; agent will be discharged. No vaporization will happen during the agent discharge; the temperature in the protection area will not decrease, no damage to equipment, instruments and documents.
